London Micro Wedding | Old Marylebone Town Hall
There aren’t enough words to share my joy for Alani (she/her) and Tamara’s (she/her) incredible London micro-wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall. They opted for a bespoke package and I’m so excited to share their story:
Chapter One: The Day / Old Marylebone Town Hall
A first look and private vows in the hidden gem that is Lincoln’s Inn Fields. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was for a Friday afternoon and how perfectly Autumnal the bandstand looked. Our only interruptions were a couple of pigeons and an eager Frenchie who generously stood his muddy paws on both white dresses, so that nobody felt left out.
The most perfect pride phone boxes right behind the Covent Garden apartment they were staying in.
A mad dash to the tube where we embraced the chaos, the heat, Tamara almost snapping her ankle, trying to find THE platform at Baker Street (and ohhh did we just) and the utter nonchalant-ness that is Londoner’s commuting on a Friday. That first shot now lives in my head rent free.
A run through the rain to Old Marylebone Town Hall, greeting the intimate selection of friends and family, crying and giggling through it in equal measures.
Chapter Two: Breakfast Club
TBC on Berwick Street is the perfect diner for a teeny wedding breakfast, and as the queen of ‘breakfast for dinner’ I was in heaven. Dirty food, killer cocktails, seriously cool cakes, a couple of speeches and Music Bingo that had everyone dancing…this whole day was a masterclass in ‘what do we love to do?’ 🥞
Take inspo from A & T and have a wedding that makes you EXCITED. Every step of the way there was something fun, something unique, something that fully celebrates them and their love. Far too often I see regrets or ‘I wish we had done that’. There will always be things you want to do again, but make sure every step of your wedding day fills you with joy. And if that joy looks like pancakes - sign me up 🧡
