I've lived outside of London for two years now, but there is still NOTHING I love more than a good old Pub Wedding, and The Lordship has to be one of my absolute favs.
I had 'technically' closed my books for 2021 when Sian and Mark dropped me an email to say how much they loved my work and could I pretty please squeeze them into my already overflowing 2021 diary. After chatting to them and hearing about their low-key, chilled wedding vibez...I couldn't resist!
Sometimes, all you need is good food, good music and damned good wine.
The Lordship, Dulwich is THE London pub to get married in. No matter the time of year it feels cosy and inviting. It's a home away from home and the fact that you can hire the entire pub is pretty unique when it comes to London pub weddings. The upstairs space is ideal for a ceremony. A few flowers and some rustic chairs, an acoustic guitar and your best pal leading your celebrations? Sign me up!
Can we talk about that STYLE though
Sian and Marks styling was everything. Nothing makes me happier than Bridesmaids in mis-matched outfits, and both of Sian's dresses (yeah, she had two) were so chic and cool that even the friendly neighbourhood black cat couldn't resist having a rub against them. Take a look for yourself, and don't miss the most wonderful review from Sian at the end that had me in tears for days...
Kim, the video is just beyond anything I could have dreamed of. As you know, we added it quite last minute having ummed and ahhed about it for a while. It was quite honestly the best decision we made. I would swap my dress for that video any day of the week, and I LOVED my dress.
The photos are all works of art in their own right. If they were photos of strangers I am pretty sure I would still get them blown up and hang them on the wall. You've captured so many beautiful moments and amazing memories and I can't believe we get to keep these forever.
Your energy, warmth, kindness, excitement and passion radiated throughout our entire wedding and I can't count the number of people who've commented multiple times on how amazing you were (and Tristan of course!). You felt like a guest, a friend. This was without even seeing the photos.
