My Fave Sussex & Brighton Wedding Venues 2025

As I sit here and reflect on the hella year of 2024 and what it meant for our little business (becoming a fully fledged destination photographer & videographer), it’s home where I feel truly content and connected so I’ve compiled a list of my fave Sussex & Brighton Wedding Venues. It’s where I moved in my darkest moments to find the light, where I met my life partner, where we experienced pet loss, but ultimately where I’ve laid roots for the rest of my life. Brighton - I love you and I absolutely LOVE shooting here and in the surrounding area.

1.Fabrica

Fabrica is nestled in the heart of the lanes and so you feel like you’re in the midst of all the hustle and bustle Brighton has to offer. Ordinarily Fabrica is an Art Gallery so the lighting and space is a dream for photography. You can also choose to have Fabrica as more of a reception / dance floor and have your ceremony else where such as Brighton Town Hall or the Unitarian Church. Choose Fabrica if you like the idea of having a city wedding with a rustic vibe. It’s so close to the lanes so we can nip out for some epic couples photos (see below one of my fave spots at Cult Records). Check out this blog with Char & Alun who had a humanist ceremony at the Unitarian Church followed by the reception at Fabrica.

2. Greentrees Estate

Greentrees Estate is in the middle of the Sussex countryside, so if you want Bridgerton / country manor house vibes then this is the one for you! The team at Greentrees were so incredibly helpful throughout the day and it feels like you’re hanging out with mates. We had one of the most stunning golden hour weddings here back in Autumn 2024 (check out this blog) and there’s plenty of space for smoke bombs, activities etc etc.

3. Gooseberry House

If you know anything about me then you’ll know I’m a plant gal and my front room is like a jungle. So shooting at Gooseberry House, with the ceremony literally in a greenhouse, was my idea of heaven. Flowers, plants, greenery as far as the eye can see. If you want a countryside wedding with a DIY feel then this is for you.

4. Firle Place

Firle Place has been on my list for a while now so I was thrilled to be asked to shoot Laura and Tom’s wedding. Laura got ready at The Grand in Brighton and was taken to Firle Place in a vintage car in true style. This was a truly stunning venue in the heart of the Sussex countryside about 20 minutes outside of Brighton so made for easy access. The ceremony felt like being in the French riviera, with grand stone towering above the entourage. Cocktails on the steps of the house followed by a reception in a tepee. If you want grand and stylish then this is for you.

5. Brighton Town Hall

Brighton Town Hall is my fave registry office in Brighton & Sussex. It’s a beautiful ceremony space in the heart of the city and allows couples to go onto somewhere else for their reception if they want to carry on the party. The venue itself is a Grade II listed building so offers that grandeoise feeling that some of my fave other registry offices offer (Islington Town Hall, Old Marylebone Town Hall etc.) The ceremony spaces can vary in size so it caters for all different kinds of weddings, big or small! This is perfect for couples wanting to tie the knot and then DIY afterwards.

6. Ultimate Brighton wedding Venues: diy!

I absolutely adore it when my couples think outside the box and interroagate what they want from their wedding. Don’t want to spend thousands on a wedding venue? Have it at home! Want to go completely DIY and fill a room of wonderful colour? Have it in a warehouse! More and more of my couples are doing things their way and I am here for it. Check out this blog on a beautiful queer wedding in a warehouse in Lewes, or this blog on an epic house party wedding in Brighton.
